INTEGRATED TREATMENT CONSULTING

CALL:  760-704-9422

What are your appointment hours and location?

My office hours are Monday 3pm - 6pm, Tuesday 10am - 3pm, and Thursday 10am - 3pm. For your convenience and access, all sessions are offered online via the HIPPA compliant platform Simple Practice.

What insurance do you accept?

I am currently an in-network provider for Anthem Blue Cross and CalGETS (California Gambling Education and Treatment Services). For out-of-network services, I can provide superbills for reimbursement however restrictions may apply per your insurance carrier.

What are your fees and payment system?

Session fees depend on your insurance and the service(s) you are seeking. CalGETS is free for those struggling with problem gambling up to 24 sessions. I accept all major credit cards for out of pocket fees or insurance co-payments. Payments are billed at the beginning of each month for previous month's service(s).

What is your cancellation policy?

Your appointment is important and is therefore reserved in advance to guarantee your time. However occasionally, you may have to miss a scheduled appointment. If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance so I am able to offer other clients your time slot. If you missed a session and have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be charged the full session fee as I am unable to offer your time slot to other clients with short notification. Cancellation notice should be left on my voicemail at 760-704-9422 or via email at hlindeman@lindemanitc.com.

How do I get my significant other/family member into therapy?

Effective therapy is without ultimatum and coercion. If your significant other/family member is refusing to engage in treatment, that may convey underlying fear and anxiety about change. Often utilizing validation and a curious stance to understand their emotional state may help them to arrive at the conclusion that therapy is beneficial. An assessment in the field may be possible if the individual is unable to come to the office.

How long is treatment?

Treatment length varies between in the field services, individual sessions, and relational work. The average recommendation to observe therapeutic change is at least 4 weeks.
